Om framtiden Vid 7 års ålder startade min karriär på Varbergs Torg med Ekelund. Nu, efter 13 års heltid i bolaget skall jag nu axla rollen som Verkställande direktör med fokus på försäljning. Tillsammans med er skall vi göra varumärket Ekelund ännu mer välkänt än vad det någonsin varit tidigare – Nu kör vi 2022! As a company since 1692, we have offered handcrafted, timeless textiles made with modern weaving techniques for 18 generations. Our roots are in the cradle of the Swedish textile industry, Viskadalen, a region characterized by solidarity and an entrepreneurial spirit. Because our manufacturing takes place in our own factory in Horred, we have oversight of every step in the production process. Our factory only uses renewable energy. We are certified to comply with GOTS, an international environmental standard for organic textiles. We make timeless textiles that stand up to daily use and celebrations in 25 countries worldwide. About the future By the age of seven, I started my carrier selling our second choice products on the market square in Varberg, a small town at the Swedish West Coast. Now, at the age of 32 and 13 years working full-time at the company, it is my turn to take over the role as CEO with the focus on sales.
